CHUCK PEZOLDT PARK COMMUNITY CENTER & LIBRARY – MEP/FP DESIGN, MIAMI, FL

Gartek provided MEP/FP design engineering services for a new one-story LEED Silver recreation center and library, including site lighting, parking, and a separate restroom/storage building. The facility features library areas, multipurpose rooms, fitness spaces, showers, offices, and support areas. Services included full HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection design, life cycle cost analysis, photometric calculations, security and IT design, and coordination with FPL. Gartek also supported construction with site visits, shop drawing reviews, and RFI responses.

BENNETT PARK COMMUNITY CENTER – MEP/FP ENGINEERING DESIGN, MIAMI, FL

Gartek provided full MEP/FP design for a new Community Center and gazebo. Services included HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, fire alarm design, room data sheets, and specifications, along with architectural CAD backgrounds, site, and life safety plans. Gartek also reviewed existing utilities, coordinated with FPL, and addressed Fire Flow Test results. The team supported the project through site visits, RFIs, shop drawing reviews, and pay requests, and coordinated IT and security systems by providing raceways and conduit paths based on contractor input.

GWEN CHERRY PARK COMMUNITY CENTER – MEP/FP ENGINEERING DESIGN, MIAMI, FL

Gartek provided full Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection (MEP/FP) design services for a project involving interior renovations, parking improvements, and a 3,000 SF addition, including a 1,000 SF NFL youth exercise and adult fitness center. Services included HVAC, electrical, and fire protection design with detailed specifications, virtual coordination meetings, and support through bidding and permitting. During construction, Gartek remained actively involved through RFI responses, shop drawing reviews, site visits, punch list verification, and as-built documentation.
