CARDIOLOGIST WELLNESS OFFICE BUILD OUT – MEP/FP ENGINEERING DESIGN, MIAMI, FL

Gartek provided full mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering design services for a medical office tenant build-out located on the third floor of a commercial building. The project encompassed approximately 6,900 sf of interior space and was designed to meet the specialized needs of a medical office environment. Gartek’s scope included complete system design and coordination to support HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.

PUBLIC HEALTH TRUST/JACKSON MEMORIAL HEALTH – MEP UPGRADES, MIAMI, FL

Services were provided across fully operational healthcare facilities, with all work completed without service interruptions in critical areas, including trauma and intensive care units. Scope included electrical and mechanical upgrades at the utility center, energy center, trauma center, and campus-wide systems. Key improvements included the installation of new 4160V switchgear, bi-fuel generators totaling 8.2 MW, multiple-unit substations, fuel system upgrades, HVAC for electrical rooms, emergency power system reconfiguration, and campus-wide power monitoring, all completed while maintaining continuous operation of life-saving equipment.

CAYMAN BRAC FAITH HOSPITAL – ISOLATION ROOM DESIGN, GRAND CAYMAN, CAYMAN ISLANDS

At the Cayman Brac Faith Hospital, our scope of work involves the engineering design of the exhaust ventilation systems for a new isolation room. This includes the preparation of detailed design documents, plans, and specifications in accordance with ASHRAE Standard 170, which governs ventilation requirements for healthcare facilities. The isolation room will be equipped with a dedicated exhaust system designed to maintain negative pressure, ensuring proper containment of airborne contaminants and protecting adjacent areas within the hospital. Our work will ensure that the room meets all applicable health and safety standards for infection control and patient care.
