Project Description:

Located at the Historic Vizcaya Museum and Gardens are outbuildings designed to resemble an Italian Farm Village. These buildings included a Garage, Dairy Building, Mule Stable, Chicken Coop, Blacksmith Shop, East and West Gate Lodges and Staff Residence. As a subconsultant Garek Engineering was part of the team contracted to restore the Garage and Blacksmith Shop buildings of the Farm Village.
Services provided included all new mechanical, electrical, plumbing and life safety systems were installed, original floors and windows were restored and the main interior space of the Garage building was also restored for use as a lecture and exhibition space.
