Project Description:
Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) and emergency generator systems upgrades at 800 Mhz communications towers. These towers are the backbone primary communications systems for PBSO, 911, and Fire Rescue. Design was phased to consider that construction had to take place without power interruptions. Portable generators were at times placed on facilities as stand-by; UPS’ replacement took advantage of redundancy. All projects except Forrest Hill were completed on time and within budget.
