Project Description:

Mitigation of tobacco smoke within the casino area. The upgrades included the replacement of existing rooftop package air units with higher capacity and higher humidity control equipment, the addition of high throw diffusers to enhance dilution of contaminants at the occupied zone (+/- 5’-6’ feet above finish floor); the addition of special filtration system CosaTron to enhance the filtration effectiveness, and the addition of high efficiency pre-filters and final filters as well as exhaust ventilation systems. The project was successfully completed and the odors and haze associated with tobacco smoke were diminished significantly.
